Sri Sutra Travel was first established in 1988 with only five personnel, operating from Magnum Plaza, Kuala Lumpur. At that time, its annual revenue was RM5 million. The new millennium saw Sri Sutra Travel advance rapidly in terms of development, when Tuan Syed Mohd Razif bought 100% stake in the firm. Following the acquisition, the company moved to its own premises at the Pekeliling Business Centre, Kuala Lumpur, in 2004.
